Drifting is one of the fastest-growing motorsports in the world and primarily involves the 15-to 35-year-old demographic. Claims and crashes involving the following cars should be evaluated as to their possible involvement in Drifting: Nissan 350Z, 240SX, 180SX, Silvia, Skyline; Toyota Corolla; Ford Mustang; Honda S2000. Many of the popular drift cars from Japan have made their way to the United States but they have not cleared Customs and gone through a registered importer. These cars are illegal and should not be licensed or insured as daily drivers. Unfortunately, several insurance companies have found this out too late.
