Investigations: Mike Bender has been a licensed California Private

He has worked all areas of criminal investigations from Auto Theft to Murder while employed with the Los Angeles Police Dept, Simi Valley Police Dept, National Auto Theft Bureau, and National Insurance Crime Bureau. Company and Personal Profile
Mike Bender started Bender Enterprises Inc. and has over
30 years experience in the investigation of auto theft and fraud.
He started his career with the Los Angeles Police Department graduating first in his class setting several records. After working Newton and Southwest Divisions he transferred to the Simi Valley Police Department working numerous assignments including training officer, SWAT, and Detectives. From there he joined the National Auto Theft
Bureau which later became the National Insurance Crime Bureau. He is an
internationally recognized expert in sport compact vehicle (illegal street
racers) theft and fraud and advanced vehicle identification. He has
consulted for major insurance companies, law enforcement, and the news and print
media.
Fun Facts: Mike competed in the Toughest Cop Alive and Toughest Competitor Alive (TCA) contest 10 times; retiring as the undefeated State, East Coast, and World Record Holder after 10 years of competing in it. He also was awarded Officer of the Year by Simi Valley Police Dept, Investigator of the Year by the Western States Auto Theft Investigators Association, and has received numerous Honorary Resolutions and a Commendation the Sate of California.
