These are handheld Windows based computers you can easily take with you in the field (Pocket PC / PDA). We chose this platform as they are expandable and have many uses in addition to barcode scanning and auto theft detection.

Expandability and compatibility are taken into consideration when choosing the PDA.  There are many options to enhance the PDA including 2D scanning, RFID reading, Mag Stripe Readers, GPS and digital cameras.

Our Windows Mobile PDA is powered by Microsoft® Windows Mobile™ 5.0 software and includes a lithium-Ion removable/rechargeable battery, AC adapter, charger adapter, USB desktop synchronization cradle, stylus, complete documentation on CD with a specific VINtrack manual.

The pictured PDA package includes a class 2 CF laser scanner that scans directly into VINtrack or any open program. VINtrack verifies the VIN and can store them on the supplied 64 MB secure digital memory card. The Windows Mobile PDA is powered by Microsoft® Windows Mobile™ 5.0 software and includes a lithium-Ion removable/rechargeable battery, AC adapter, charger adapter, USB desktop synchronization cradle, stylus, complete documentation on CD and a specific VINtrack manual.
